The following data may be processed:

4. Publicly Visible Content
Asiaflirt is a community platform. Certain profile information and content are visible to other users.
This may include:
- Profile photo
- Username
- Profile description
- Travel stories
- Voluntarily published information
Users are responsible for deciding which information they choose to make publicly available.
Private messages are not publicly visible.
5. Premium Memberships
When booking paid features, payment data is processed via external payment providers.
Asiaflirt does not store full credit card information.

6. Fraud Prevention and Security
To protect the community, communication data may be reviewed where there are concrete indications of unlawful activity.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
7. Message Translation with DeepL
AsiaFlirt provides an optional translation feature within the private messaging system.
If a member activates the translation feature, message content that requires translation is transmitted to DeepL SE, Maarweg 165, 50825 Cologne, Germany, via the DeepL API Pro service in order to provide the requested translation. This processing continues for relevant messages while the translation feature remains enabled.
Only the message content required to provide the translation is transmitted to DeepL. The translation feature can be switched off by the member at any time.
According to DeepL, texts submitted through DeepL API Pro and their translations are processed only temporarily for the provision of the translation service, are deleted after the service has been provided, and are not used to train or improve DeepL's translation models.
The processing is carried out for the purpose of enabling multilingual communication between members and providing the translation feature requested by the member.
DeepL acts as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR.

8. Use of Matomo (Self-Hosted)
This website uses Matomo for statistical analysis.
Matomo is operated on own servers. No data is transferred to third parties.
Collected data may include:
- anonymized IP address
- browser type
- operating system
- visited pages
- duration of visit
IP addresses are anonymized before storage.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in optimization).
9. Data Retention
Data is stored:
- as long as the account exists
- in accordance with statutory retention obligations
- until deletion is requested

- hosting and IT providers

No data is sold or used for advertising purposes.
